Master of Children’s Book Illustration
Introduction
Another year which presented many challenges to our MA Children’s Book Illustration students, despite having to adjust to many new working practices each student rose to the challenge and produced an exciting and vibrant collection of work. You will see from the portfolios included here that each is filled with the distinct personalities and interests of the students, who explored the creation of children’s picture books with purpose and creativity. Each year we see students’ achievements recognised by industry, whether through competitions or commissions, this year saw Hannah Blackman-Kurz and Elaine Macintyre both work with UCLan Publishing, Hannah’s work has now gone into production.
