Art & Design (Foundation Entry)
Introduction
Welcome to work from the BA (Hons) Art & Design Foundation Entry students. This course offers a unique opportunity for those wishing to enter a creative degree programme to determine which degree is right for them, to ease their way into higher education and university life, to gain essential skills, develop their confidence and meet friends all before they start year one of their degree. Even some who know exactly which degree path they wish to take and have the appropriate qualifications choose to start at foundation level in order gain the best chance of obtaining a good degree.
Students on this course progress onto any one of the creative courses in the School of Arts and Media. We cover a wide range of disciplines including design areas, fine art, commercial art, photography, performance, music, media and journalism.
The work on show represents a fraction of the exciting and experimental work produced by our students all of whom are just starting out on a journey which could lead to becoming one of tomorrows creative inspirations.
