About me

Since finishing high school, I went on to study Maths, Geography and Fine art at Cardinal Newman college and secured a place at UCLan studying Architecture. I’ve always enjoyed all aspects of art and design, so I found it hard to choose a speciality. Still, I wanted a career that would challenge me with various skills and confidence-boosting opportunities. Architecture has allowed me to express many of my creative endeavours, including sketching, photography, photoshop, and display organising. I’ve also enjoyed developing more of my software-based skills like Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Vectorworks and Twin Motion. I’m passionate about many different projects, and I’m keen to expand my knowledge and experiences within the field.

Blackpool is known for its vibrant coastal attractions and accessible tourist culture. Many design developments have aimed to improve tourism within the area, yet there is a need still for locals to gain support. This project explores the existing economic, social and environmental experiences within Blackpool. It aims to provide a design that supports and enhances the lived experience of residents who the area’s declining economy has let down for so long. Through a new creative production hub, it would be an opportunity for the town to enjoy a facility that promotes sustainable employment opportunities and a connected community.
