About me

I’m a Preston-based graduate interior designer, I have been involved in art and design from an early age volunteering as a young artist in the Preston Caribbean Carnival for over a decade, and I have pursued an art-based vocation in my early educational years. I have strong digital visual skills using InDesign and sketch up and my own unique style.

Whist studying at the UCLan I have been given opportunities to work with clients such as Preston Council and the British Cycle Association, redesigning the existing pavilion at Moor Park I consider this an accomplishment as it gave me real work experience of working with a client to meet their requirements for their brief and communicate my ideas effectively and in a timely manner whilst considering the end-user.

The Archways is a grade 2 listed building within Preston Lancashire with historical significance, the building was originally used as a coach house and stable block. The main ethos of design for this site is wildlife and nature, with the focus on creating a community space. The building will be a hub for wildlife and education providing small workshops, educational talks, refreshments and wildlife habitat areas to encourage insect and animal colonies to thrive. The design is based on earth tones and comprises of reclaimed wood furniture inside and outdoors.
